Summary of Work
STRENGTHS:
Leaning into a cohesive palette across sourced props and props intrinsic to the location. I also was able to incorporate this palette into the wardrobe
Attention to Detail. Shooting in a real convenience store meant I had to be paying close attention to the shots and making sure we were avoiding any issues with other brands’ copyright.
STRUGGLES:
Time Management. Since we were playing back footage on a monitor in real time, I should’ve tested the monitor before I got to set to ensure it worked. (Spoiler alert: it did not) We were able to get it working eventually, but it did eat up a lot of time on set.
Vision. While the director’s vision clear vision was helpful in some instances, we often had differing creative visions often and little space was left for compromise.
